Sedation & Comfort

Nothing to Fear

It is not uncommon for individuals to experience dental anxiety before and during dental procedures. Dental care is essential to your overall health and the last thing we want is for patients to avoid dental treatments due to anxiety. We are happy to have a conversation with you about our dental sedation options to make your treatment more comfortable.

Types of Dental Sedation:

  • Laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide)
  • Oral Sedation

While sedation dentistry makes the procedure more tolerable for you, it is important to understand that they are not painkillers, and you will still require the use of a dental anesthetic.

Laughing Gas

Laughing gas, an inhaled sedative, brings one of the safest and easiest sedation techniques to nearly any procedure. Patients from young to old may benefit by simply breathing in and out.

Oral Sedation

Anxiety prevents up to 50% of the population from getting even basic dental care. Simple oral medications taken shortly before an appointment can help make your experience more pleasant.

We offer blankets for warmth and weight, as well as headphones if you forget yours from home. We strive to help you feel confident and comfortable in your treatment.
